Feeder protection and control

Arcteq’s AQ 200 series offers full protection for a feeder. There are several varieties available depending on the level of protection and monitoring functions required by your application. Our products range from a dedicated overcurrent device with only current inputs to a fully equipped feeder management device with all the protections and control functionalities required by a complex feeder. Any requirement for an extended I/O and/or communication media is covered by a wide range of option cards.

Arcteq has developed the communication tool AQwire which is very handy when configuring, for example, the IEC 61850 communication protocol in a protection relay. Application Engineer Raj Kumar explains how to use this tool in a real environment, and how to test the communication of all communication protocols available in AQ 200 products.
