AQ-50 accessories

AQ-50 can be ordered as a stand-alone device or mounted in a standard cabinet, which include the following components:

• an AQ-50 fault detection device for the 1/3/6 feeders (depending on the order code),
• a local/remote switch on the front door,
• batteries and a charger,
• an OVP overvoltage protection module for RS-485 signal cables,
• a remote terminal unit (RTU),
• a zero voltage supervision relay for 230 V AC,
• space for a modem to connect to a mobile network (if applicable),
• terminals,
• fuses,
• bushings, and
• ventilation.

You can also add many options to enhance the cabinet (such as a backup control panel, an outdoor cabinet, battery supervision, etc.). If necessary, you can also ask your Arcteq representative for a custom cabinet, which modifies the standard cabinet with all the components you need for your application.

• AX15004: standard cabinet for 1 feeder (600 x 400 x 210 mm).
• AX15005: standard cabinet for 3 feeders (600 x 400 x 210 mm).
• AX15013: standard cabinet for 6 feeders (700 x 500 x 300 mm).

The cable transformer accessories can be mounted on the insulated cable sections of live bays. We offer two cable transformer types:

• AX550: 150/1 A clip-together split-core CT, 4 m cable.
• AX551: 300/1 A clip-together split-core CT, 4 m cable.
• AX580: 150/1 A split-core CT with encapsulated thumbscrews, 8 m cable.
• AX581: 300/1 A split-core CT with encapsulated thumbscrews, 8 m cable.

The split-core current sensor accessories are designed for overhead lines, and they can be mounted on both insulated and non-insulated conductors. The sensors’ locking clamps can go through any insulating layer. We offer two types of split-core current sensors:

• AX512: LOFA split-core current sensor, 12 kV overhead line.
• AX524: LOFA split-core current sensor, 24 kV overhead line.

If you want to build your own cabinet or expand an existing one, you can order batteries and chargers separately:

• AX420: Battery charger, 24 V DC, 2.5 A.
• AX422: Battery charger, 24 V DC, 5 A.
• AX430: Battery 12 V, 7 Ah, longlife.
• Larges sizes for the battery are also available: 12 Ah, 17 Ah, and 24 Ah.

We also offer additional options for fault detection, from overvoltage protection to alternative communication interfaces:

• AX330: PxC RS-485 modem for PDC.
• AX510: OVP overvoltage protection for RS-485 signal cables.
• AX520: PxL LORA interface.
