Application Engineer

We are now looking for a solution-oriented Application Engineer to strengthen our customer-driven service organization. In this role your will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of support and that our products meet all requirements. The position offers a versatile combination of technical problem solving, customer interaction, and hands-on testing both in the office and at customer sites.

Basic information:

Location: Vaasa or Helsinki
Remote work: hybrid working model, you can work remotely two days per week
Travelling: readiness to travel about 50–80 days per year
Permanent, full-time role

Key responsibilities:

In this role your will make sure that our products meet complex customer demands and that customers receive the highest level of support we are known for. Your typical tasks include:

Creating and carrying out test procedures both on-site and in the office, including commissioning-related testing to simulate and verify different fault situations.
Investigating and diagnosing problems.
Providing technical support.
Training customers.

What we are looking for:

Ability to identify failures and perform testing of electrical installations according to given instructions.
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in electrical engineering.
Good communication skills in English.
Mindset oriented to customer service.
Willingness to learn and adapt new technologies.
Readiness to travel within Finland and abroad.
Knowledge of protection applications in electrical networks is an advantage.
S1 electrical qualification is an advantage.
