Arcteq has completed its Saudi Arabian project when it supplied the Ma’aden Bauxite & Alumina Company with generator and feeder protection devices to its 5 x 2750 kVA generating set plant plant. The AQ-G357 and AQ-F215 protection devices traveled to the plant located 200 km north of the city of Buraydah, in the province of Qasim.
Arcteq’s scope of supply included not only product delivery, but also their commissioning. Additionally, Arcteq provided training services at the site in Saudi Arabia.
The plant has been supplying the bauxite mine village, the construction site, and local consumers with prime power since November 2015 when its commissioning was completed. Ma’aden is the leader in Saudi mining industry.
