Arcteq is supplying the South African electricity utility Eskom with AQ-F210 feeder protection devices. These relays come with an integrated arc protection feature and they are protecting Eskom’s mobile 11kV substation in the Johannesburg region.
Eskom is using the AQ-F210 devices to protect their substation against overcurrent faults, earth faults, and arc flashes. The devices function also as the switching device control in this Eskom mobile substation.
