Alarm annunciators
Alarm annunciators display collected substation alarms, which can be collected either by hard wire or by GOOSE protocol. The alarm annunciators may also be supplied with mimic displays to control and/or indicate the status of local breakers or disconnectors. The alarm annunciators are supplied with both station-level and remote communication protocols.

Arcteq has developed the communication tool AQwire which is very handy when configuring, for example, the IEC 61850 communication protocol in a protection relay. Application Engineer Raj Kumar explains how to use the tool in a real environment, and how to test the communication of all communication protocols available in AQ 200 products.
