The AQ-103 arc protection relay got its premiere installation in Esse Elektro-Kraft’s 110 / 20kV substation in Kortesjärvi – Finland! The main contractor in the project was Arcteq’s long-term local partner VEO Oy.
The arc protection relay AQ-103 is connected by Modbus communication to Arcteq’s alarm annunciator unit AQ-S254, and thus the pickup of any light-sensitive point sensor can be indicated on the display of AQ-S254. AQ-S254 unit also transmits arc protection system pickups and events directly to the customer’s SCADA system.
