Manager for Customer Support and Application Engineering

We are looking for a Manager for Customer Support and Application Engineering to our Vaasa headquarters to support and enhance the fast growth of our organization. In this role you will lead a team of six specialists to make sure that our products meet the complex customer demands and that our customers receive the highest level of support for which we are known for. Your typical tasks will include the following:

  • Coordinating team activity and internal development projects within the team.
  • Providing a hands-on approach on customer support and application engineering.
  • Creating and carrying out test procedures on site and at the office.
  • Investigating and diagnosing problems.
  • Writing reports and creating relevant documentation.
  • Providing technical support.
  • Ensuring safe working conditions.
  • Training customers.

The position is permanent and we would like you to start as soon as possible!

Competence

You have a degree in electrical engineering (M.Sc. or B.Sc.), and the ability to manage a team of specialists. Additionally, you can identify failures and are able to perform testing of electrical installations according to given instructions. You are willing to learn and adapt new technologies, and are ready to travel about 80 days per year. You have good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

We welcome any previous knowledge of electrical network protection applications. Additionally, we appreciate any previous experience with protection relay testing devices as well as experience in a managerial position and/or leading a team. S1 electrical qualification would also be highly welcomed.
